Healing update

It has been a year since I was hospitalized for Crohns. I have since made an unfathomably great recovery and I have been checking boxes they usually don't check for Crohns patients. I was one of only two people that checked all the boxes from my doctors experience.

I don't remember what happened all too well, but my mom sure does. She wrote everything down that they were telling her as I sat there having zero clue what was going on. Apparently every single doctor in the building was scratching their heads on how I was even still alive with the numbers they were seeing from blood tests they did to me 3 times a day.

I also wonder the same thing given how severely malnourished I was because literally eating or drinking anything could cause the situation to get worse. I went from my usual weight of 190 pounds to 140. I compensated for my severe weight loss by eating McDonald's again for the first time in years and I quickly went back to my normal weight. It's both hilarious and concerning how terrible fast food can be to your body.

I know for sure a miracle was performed on me, because every single person at my church was praying for my recovery. Some of them would come for a visit too and give me gifts. I had always been a child of Christ, but I've never seen him work miracles on me until this point. My faith in him is now stronger than it ever was before. I am happy to know I exist on this earth for a purpose and I am protected in the name of our Lord. I apologize in advance to my enemies, you lost again.

One last note: I'm going to stop promising new blog posts, I literally don't get paid to do this stuff and motivation is scarce around here. I do have plenty of drafts I haven't picked up in a while so maybe I will get back to finishing those. In the meantime, I hope you have a great new year even if it's already ~12% complete by the time I'm posting this.
